Q. My computer takes a long time to boot up. How can I make this process faster?
A. You may shorten startup time by editing the startup folder in the "system configuration utility." Simply click on Start, Run, then type in MSCONFIG and click on OK. Now click on the Startup tab and remove check marks from any item that does not need to be loaded during the Windows boot process. This does not delete the program. It only stops it from loading at startup when you reboot your pc. This process is completely reversible.
