How to use System Restore

Q. I installed a new program on my pc and now my computer is not working right. How can I get it back to the way it was working before?

A. You may use the "System Restore" feature in Windows XP to restore your pc back to its original configuration before you made changes to your pc. To use this feature, click on Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, then System Restore and click Next. Now select a highlighted date that was before your system began to have problems. Follow the wizard until the pc automatically restarts itself. When the pc has restarted, your computer will have been restored to a previous good condition.
