Q. How do I boot into safe mode?

A. Restart your computer and wait for the monitor screen to go black. As your pc restarts, start tapping the F8 key very rapidly (before any text appears on your monitor) until a list of several boot options appear on the screen. If you are unsuccessful the first time, simply repeat the procedure until you see the list of boot options. Use your arrow keys to highlight safe mode and hit the Enter key. If Internet access is needed, select the safe mode with networking option.
